MANDALAY- Under the guidance of the Mandalay Regional Government Committee, 1st jade lots and gems emporium will be held in Mandalay Region.

There are over 2,500 lots of raw jade are being displayed and it will be sold on October 23rd.

“There are over 2,680 registered jade lots. But, we already have over 2,500 jade lots because the Jade Enterprise Committee didn’t accept the low class jade lots,” said Aye Lwin from Jade Enterprise Committee.

The emporium aims to get raw materials and to ensure the jade and gems merchants living around Mandalay Region. Moreover, there will be finished jade products and gems shops.

However, those visitors must be made entrance cards aiming to look the raw jades. As for foreign visitors, they have a chance to buy only jade and gems products and they can observe raw jades.

Those jade lots will be sold through Tender bidding system for 1 million from October 26th to 29th.
