A man was hospitalized after reportedly slipping from the eighth floor of a building on 42nd Street in Botahtaung Township, Yangon Region, this morning.  

Members of local social welfare associations rushed to the scene after receiving the information about the accident at about 11am.

“He fell from the eighth floor into the backyard. Now, he is receiving medical treatment at Yangon General Hospital,” said an official from Lin Let Social Welfare Organization.

The man is said to have been living in that shared rented flat on the eighth floor. He sustained head and foot injuries.
