YANGON-----A man was stabbed to death at the apartment in Sanchaung Township, Yangon Region yesterday night, according to the nearby residents.

“The attack took place at a flat situated in front of 777 Beer Shop in the Sanchaung Street in Sanchaung Township around 11pm of January 26th. Myanmar Police informed us and then we rushed at the incident. As the flat was locked, we together with police members destroyed the keys. Firstly, the youth was found stabbed to death and then a girl also was stabbed twice at her belly and thigh. The man was stabbed in his neck and belly. We knew that a girl firstly attacked the man with a knife. The girl was over 20 years old and the man was around 30 years old,” said unidentified official from Sanchaung Township Auxiliary Fire Brigade.

The cause of the stabbing was a quarrel between a girl and man. The police already conducted the investigation.
