The Myanmar Embassy in Tokyo, Japan, has announced that 431 job offers have been extended to Myanmar workers from Japanese companies.

According to the embassy’s statement, the Myanmar Embassy in Tokyo is verifying job offer letters (Demand Letters) sent by the Ministry of Labour via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In this process, the embassy checks whether the Japanese recruitment companies and factories or firms offering the jobs are legally established in Japan. The findings and comments are then sent back to the Ministry of Labour through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Myanmar Embassy in Tokyo has been reviewing the demand letters in chronological order based on the date they were received from Japanese companies. By September 11, 2024, they had verified and forwarded information on 431 job offers to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
