Ohn Lwin, hundred-household administrator in Natsintara East ward, Thanlyin Township, was shot dead on Kanyin Pin Road at around 8 am on September 16, according to locals.

Ohn Lwin, 62, a resident of Kanyin Pin Road, was shot dead by unidentified men while walking early in the morning.

A resident of the area said, "He was shot just before reaching the disaster office on Kanyin Pin Road. I heard four or five gunshots. After the gunshots, he can still walk. He was taken to the hospital and I learnt that he died."

He has been an administrative member of the ward since the establishment of Natsintara East ward, according to residents.

Security forces arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation.
