Two were killed and one was injured when Klohtoobaw Karen Organization KKO (separatist group) and PDF combined group attacked Kawkareik, Kayin State, according to the Information Team of State Administration Council (SAC).

The combined forces attacked military base in Kawkareik around 10:30 pm on November 20 from Sinkone Village, according to SAC's Information Team.

The explosion occurred at the U Tun Yin’s house in ward-2, Kawkareik and killed two civilians and injured one.
