YANGON-----Five family members including 3-aged child were shot dead at a house in Yeiktha Ward in Hlegue Township, Yangon Region, yesterday night, according to the sources.

A local from Hlegue Township said that not only five family members but also a dog were shot dead. The victims transferred from the rural area to the Hlegue Township.

“The incident took place about 8pm of February 22nd. Those family members and their relative were shot at a house. The dog was also shot. We heard that whether the victims recently transferred from Pyi and Taungoo Township or not,” said a local from Hlegue Township. The victims earned a living as dried prawn online shop.

The neighbouring residents reported that four unknown men arrived at the house by two motorbikes and they shot all family members including 3-aged child and a dog. The criticisms already spread among the online users and  Social Media page and no one knew about the cause of the kill.
