YANGON------Bomb blasts occurred in Dawbon and Shwe Pyithar Townships, Yangon Region, yesterday morning, according to neighbouring residents.

An explosion took place at the administration  office in Myothit Ward in Dawbon Township, Yangon Region, over 10am of September 22nd. 

“We heard a loud explosion came from Myothit Ward’s administration office in Dawbon Township, yesterday morning. There was no injury. The authorities blocked the street after the explosion and they conducted the checks,” said a witness living near the incident.

Likewise, an explosion occurred at the traffic control check post in Pale Junction on Shwe Pyithar Tadar Street in Shwe Pyithar Township, around 8am of September 22nd, according to neighbouring residents.

More security forces came to the place after the explosion and investigation has been made. Traffic control check posts in Yangon faced explosions frequently these days and security have beefed up in these places.
