An explosion occurred at the at traffic control check post at the corner of Pyi Road and Inya Road in Kamayut Township on September 17 around 6:00 am.

Due to the explosion, the roof and the walls of the check post was destroyed but no one was hurt as there was none at the time of explosion.On the embankment of Inya Lake which is opposite to the check post, security forces are being deployed 24 hours a day. More security forces came to the place after the explosion and investigation has been made.Traffic control check posts in Yangon faced explosions frequently these days and security have beefed up in these places.
