Experts are trying to recover lost CCTV records for the Victoria Case

Experts are doing their best to recover lost CCTV footages from the Wisdom Hill Nursery School case.

The case, where accused stand trial for sexual exploitation of a young child named Victoria, could have a strong going-forward if the footages were recovered.

The lost CCTV  records from the DVR and Hard Disk Drive from the school are being attempted by computer experts from the Myanmar Computer Association hired by Aung Gyi’s lawyer, two experts hired by Victoria’s lawyer, one from the CID; altogether 7 experts at the Dhakhina District court in Nay Pyi Taw.

“The findings of the experts will be submitted to the court together with affidavit. If the court accepts it, we can continue the case,” said Khin Maung Zaw, lawyer of Aung Gyi.

CCTV record has been taking for the experts recovering the lost CCTV records. Only lawyers concerned with the case, fathers of Victoria and Aung Gyi can be entered at the room occupied with computer experts.

These experts are working at the separate room at the court and continued to work even the court hearing was adjourned.

“It is the very first time that experts are working outside of the court hearing time and I’ve never faced this kind of experienced in my entire life working at the Dhakhina District court in Nay Pyi Taw,” said one of the staff at the court who doesn’t want to be identified.

The lost records are being recovered by experts till 6:30 pm according to the father of accused Aung Gyi.
