A missing driver was found dead on the six-lane road in Thanlyin Township.
It is reported that the driver had left his home on the afternoon of October 5 to work as a rental car driver and subsequently went missing. His family members had posted a missing person notice on social media to search for him.
It was later learned that his body was found around 3 PM on October 6 on the six-lane highway in Thanlyin Township.
The deceased, who was murdered, has been identified as U San Thein, a 58-year-old resident of West Yanpyar 18th Street, in Thaketa Township's Ward 3.
Some social media have reported that three individuals who committed the murder and took the rental vehicle have been arrested.
Additionally, it was learned that on October 6, a case occurred at a hotel in Pazundaung Township, Yangon, where a woman was dismembered and placed in a trash bag.
According to reports, at 9:45 AM on October 6, at the Beauty Land Hotel on 32nd Street (Upper), Ward (11) in Pazundaung Township, a woman was hacked to pieces and murdered. Her body parts were discarded in a blue trash bag on a platform housing an outdoor air conditioning unit.
