Central Bank of Myanmar dispelled rumors that new currency notes, Ks.20,000 and Ks.50,000 notes  would be issued are not true and if issuing takes place, prior announcement will be made.

CBM has responded to the news spread on the social media that new bank notes will be issued. It said, issuing of new bank notes, and issuing present bank notes with new styles will be made after the prior announcement to the public according to CBM.

CMB in its announcement said that issuing of Ks.20, 000 and Ks.50, 000 notes are not true.
