The Central Bank of Myanmar (CBM) sold nearly 13 million dollars at a rate of 3,524 kyat per dollar and 700,000 Yuan in the foreign currency market on September 25, sources said.
The CBM sold nearly US$23 million in the foreign currency market on September 23.
On September 20, the CBM sold more than 1.28 million dollars and 800,000 Yuan in the foreign currency market.
The CBM has sold US$30 million to fuel oil companies on the foreign currency market through FX trading platform.
On September 19, the CBM sold over 8.5 million dollars and over two million Thai baht on the FX market online trading platform. On September 18, the CBM sold more than three million Thai baht on the FX market online trading platform.
The CBM announced on September 18 that it will sell 10 million Thai baht to importers on the FX trading platform in the foreign currency market. On September 18, more than three million baht were sold on the FX market online trading platform.
On September 17, it sold US$300,000 at a rate of 3,512 kyats per dollar and another five million dollars were sold at 3,511 kyats per dollar on September 16.
In the foreign currency market, the CBM sold US$230,000 at a rate of 3,507 kyats per dollar, over 1.5 million Chinese Yuan and 956,930 Thai baht on September 13.
