The Central Bank of Myanmar (CBM) has called for a tender to purchase UV counterfeit detectors to identify fake Myanmar kyats notes, sources said.

An open tender has been called for the purchase of UV counterfeit detectors for use at the CBM.

The CBM announced the open tender for the purchase of these UV counterfeit detectors in the November 23 issue of the Myanmar Alin newspaper by the tender committee, and stated that the tender form will be sold from November 24 to December 5.

The last date for submission of tenders is December 7 and the tenders will be opened on December 9.
