CBM conducts foreign currencies sales on Oct 15

The Central Bank of Myanmar (CBM) sold more than 6 million dollars at a rate of 3,554 kyats per dollar and nearly 200 million baht in the foreign currency market on October 15, and over 34 million dollars, over three million yuan and over 260 million baht have been sold so far in October.

During October, it sold over 6 million dollars and nearly 200 million baht on October 15, more than 1.2 million yuan and more than 10 million baht on October 2, nearly 800,000 dollars at a rate of 3,535 kyats per dollar, more than 1.2 million yuan and more than one million baht on October 3, more than 13.122 million dollars at a rate of 3,543 kyats per dollar and more than 280,000 yuan on October 4, more than 10 million baht on October 7, over 660,000 yuan at a rate of 507 kyats per yuan on October 9, more than 12.4 million dollars at a rate of 3,554 kyat per dollar and more than 38 million baht on October 10. Up to the present time in October, more than 26.3 million dollars, more than 3.4 million yuan and more than 60 million baht have been sold.

On September 30, the CBM sold more than 13.16 million dollars at a rate of 3,529 kyats per dollar and 1.8 million yuan in the foreign currency market.

In the foreign currency market, the CBM sold more than 13.16 million dollars at a rate of 3,529 kyats per dollar on September 30, 84,170 dollars at a rate of 3,528 kyats on September 27, 40,000 dollars at a rate of 3,524 kyats on September 26, nearly 13 million dollars at a rate of 3,524 kyats per dollar and 700,000 yuan on September 25, nearly 23 million dollars at a rate of 3,520 kyats per dollar on September 23, and  more than 1.28 million dollars at a rate of 3,519 kyats per dollar and 800,000 yuan on September 20.

The CBM has sold $30 million to fuel oil companies in the foreign currency market through FX Trading Platform.

On September 19, the CBM sold more than 8.5 million dollars and more than two million baht (2052047.87) on (FX Market Online Trading Platform), and on September 18, more than three million baht were sold.

The CBM announced on September 18 that it will sell 10 million baht to importers in the foreign currency market.
