Affordable Art Fair scheduled to be held on March 27 at the Secretariat Building in Yangon has been postponed until further notice due to the coronavirus.
The fair showcasing a big collection of paintings was first to be held from March 27 to April5. But it was postponed due to COVID-19.
Plans have been made to offer paintings of top artists at affordable prices.
Some booths to be included at the art fair are Artist Life Art Gallery of artist U Lun Kywe, PK Art Studio of artist Pan Kyi and Kalasa Art Space of various famous artists.
Myanmar announced a ban on festivities and ceremonies as of mid-March. Therefore, Affordable Art Fair has been postponed and the date of holding the fair will be announced. Some art fairs are reportedly being held.
