A vehicle heading to the umbrella-hoisting ceremony of a pagoda over-turned near Thonze Township injuring 20 people including 2 monks on the morning of March 11.

“The vehicle was leaving Pyae and it over-turned near Thonze Township around 7:00 am on March 11. About 20 people were injured. Among them, six people including 2 monks were in serious condition and they were sent to Yangon General Hospital,” said a member of Myittalin philanthropic association.

Tow monks, a man and two women were in serious condition and so they were sent from Oatpho hospital to Yangon General Hospital according to of Myittalin philanthropic association.

Among the six who were seriously injured, a monk was in critical condition and the rest are in less serious condition according to Myittalin philanthropic association.
