A car leaving from Minkin Township to Kalay was hit by a home-made bomb near Thegyan village, Kalaywa-Yargyi road and killed 5 people including 2 children on the vehicle according to the statement released by State Administration Council (SAC).
The car carrying Soe Yarzar, Nway Nway Lin, Shun Le Wai (5 years) and Ye Yint Thu (7 years), who are children of Soe Yarzar, Moe Sandar Myint from upper Sathar village, Pyae Phyo Wai from Thalarbar village, Than Win Maung from Min Kin No-2 ward, was hit by a home-made bomb on April 5 at 3:00 pm, according to the SAC statement.
Soe Yarzar, Pyae Phyo Wai, Nway Nway Lin, Shun Le Wai, and Ye Yint Thu were killed by the explosion, Than Win Maung was injured and admitted to Kalaywa hospital while Moe Sandar Myint was missing.
