A musical program entitled “irresistible truth” will be held at the National Theatre in Yangon on November 3 to raise funds for Thanlyin home for the Aged (Thabarwa Tayar Yeikthar).
More than 30 singers will be performing in the event. It is the third of its kind, an arrangement of a charity event by My Music Entertainment.
“It is the third time that we will be holding this event. There are many people sheltering at the Thanlyin(Thabarwa Tayar Yeikthar). There are also many things needed in Thanlyin (Thabarwa Tayar Yeikthar). There are donors to the Yeikthar (sanctuary) but we are doing what we can. By holding this kind of events, more people will know about the Yeikthar and those unable to physically go there to contribute can donate at the event. As it is a fund raiser, vocalists, electronics as well as lighting are voluntarily participated. People can donate clothes; unwanted items from their house can be brought to the show and donate there. Even by just watching the show, it is also a kind of donation towards the Yeikthar,” said Aung Lin from My Music Entertainment.
Music bands such as Lucky Hands, My Music will be participating in the show. Famous vocalists such as Zaw Win Shein, J Maung Maung, Chit Kaung, Tu Tu, Mon Aung, Graham, Ringo, Marazaa, Bo Phyu, R Zarni, Zaw Paing, Phyo Pyae Zone, Aung Htet, Po Pyae, Toe Khine, Makhalar, Kawni, Chawsu Khin, Irine Zin Mar Myint, Sandi Myint Lwin, Htaik Htaik, Nant Chit Nadi Zaw, Wai Lay, Pan Yaung Chaey, Jewel, Yun, Naw Jet, Kyar Nyo Thwe, and Yu Wai Phyo will all per taking turns performing for a good cause.
Moreover, Creator music band (Myingyan Kadon brothers), Angry bird music band( Blind musicians band) and Future music band will also be playing at the event. All proceeds from the tickets sold will be donated to the Thanlyin (Thabarwa Tayar Yeikthar).
The donation center will be opened at the National Theatre in Yangon on 3:00 pm on the day of the event. Those unable to join the show can also donate at My Garden restaurant starting October 15.
The tickets prices range from Ks5000, Ks10,000 and Ks20,000 and are purchasable at Man Thiri Sound Recording Studios as well as My Garden restaurant and at the Thanlyin home for the aged itself.
