The number of Covid-19 cases confirmed for September 23 alone has reached 869 after the Ministry Health and Sports announced a second batch of 535 more cases at 8 am today.

In the second batch for September 23, 3,770 Covid-19 samples were tested, and among them, 535 cases were reported.

The ministry also reported 334 confirmed cases for the first batch at 8 pm on September 23.

Therefore, the whole day saw 869 cases out of 5,872 samples tested.

Three more deaths were also reported this morning bringing the total number of deaths to 133.

Myanmar has so far seen 7,827 Covid-19 cases and 133 deaths.
