Eight people were injured after a car crash involving three cars that set one car on fire at the traffic lights at the junction of Waizayanta Road and Yadana Street in South Okkalapa Township, Yangon, on the night of December 13.
A fire brigade and local aid organizations rushed to the scene after receiving the information about the accident at about 12 midnight
The car crash involved a Mark II, an Alphard and an ambulance. The Mark II caught fire, according to Thukha Kari social aid organization.
“It was a pile-up involving three cars. Aid organizations sent the injured people to hospital,” said an official from Thukha Kari social aid organization.
Eight people were injured in the accident and sent to hospital.
