On the eighth day of the 60th Myanmar Gems Emporium, a total of 695 jade lots were successfully sold out of 750 available lots.

The eighth day of the 60th Myanmar Gems Emporium for 2025 continued on November 24 at the Mani Yadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw. From the morning onward, domestic and foreign gem merchants examined various groups of jade lots displayed at designated areas outside the hall.

According to the announcement, out of the 750 jade lots offered by the respective groups on the eighth day, 695 lots were sold to local and international merchants through an open-envelope tender system.

In addition, domestic and foreign traders inspected jade lots numbered from 3651 to 4400, which were scheduled for sale on the ninth day of the emporium. They submitted their price quotations into the designated tender boxes. Officials opened and reviewed the tender envelopes on the evening of November 24, and the results for the sold jade lots were announced on the morning of November 25.

Furthermore, U Khin Maung Yi, Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, and Patron of the Central Committee for the Myanmar Gems Emporium, inspected the envelope-opening process at the Mani Yadana Jade Hall and instructed responsible personnel as necessary.

The remaining jade lots from the respective groups will continue to be sold to domestic and foreign traders at the Mani Yadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw until November 26.
