50 Honda ENS1 Electric Vehicles arrive in Myanmar

A total of 50 Honda ENS1 electric vehicles imported by Earth Renewable Energy arrived at Yangon Port on April 7 under the permission of National Level Steering Committee on the Development of Electric Vehicles and Related Industries.

These electric vehicles were allowed to claim according to the procedures. And they are allowed with an exemption of Customs tariffs for the development of domestic electric vehicle sector.

Similarly, 15 sets of 60 KW EV chargers imported by Grand Sirius Co., Ltd and and 5 sets of 60 KW EV chargers imported by Chin Dwin Shan Construction Co., Ltd arrived at Yangon port on April 7. These electric vehicles were allowed to claim under Custom procedures. And they are exempted from Custom tariffs.
