Yangon-Eight COVID-19 confirmed patients and 30 patients pending lab results, are being treated at the relevant hospitals, according to the surveillance dashboard of the Ministry of Health and Sports on 29 March.
According to a statement by the ministry on 28 March, from 6 p.m. on 27 March to 6 p.m. on 28 March, 55 persons were added to the list of Persons Under Investigation. A total of 44 PUIs and hospital-quarantined patients, tested negative for COVID-19.
Seven out of eight confirmed patients being isolated at the relevant hospitals are getting better.
On 27 March, the confirmed patient from Yangon General Hospital was moved to the Waibargi Specialist Hospital. The patient is put in isolation and being treated at the Intensive Care Unit of Waibargi Specialist Hospital.
The ministry is working on contract tracing as the confirmed patients are reported. The ministry has called on the public to abide by the ministry's directives.
