Three new Covid-19 patients (Nos. 152, 153 and 154) are nurses working for a private hospital in eastern Ywama Ward, Insein Township, Yangon Rgion, and the hospital where about 20 patients are receiving treatment has been locked down.

The Ministry of Health and Sports reported on the night of May 3 that three women living in Insein Township and a man living in Tamway Township had tested positive for Covid-19. The three women had close contact with a confirmed patient. The man had no travel history.

The women are nurses from a private hospital in Insein Township. They had close contact with Case No.151 patient.

“There are about 20 patients receiving medical treatment at the hospital. We are still making list of how many people there are at the hospital,” said Yangon Region MP Wai Phyo Han for Insein Township Constituency No. (1).
