The Myanmar Examinations Department has announced that application forms and official stamps for the 2026 matriculation examination will be available for purchase from 1 to 30 September 2025.

Forms can be obtained at the department’s head office in Nay Pyi Taw, its Yangon branch on Parami Road, or through relevant schools and township education offices. In-school candidates may purchase the forms directly from their schools, while external candidates must obtain them from township education offices or through representatives.

Application cards are issued in two colors—green and pink—depending on the subjects selected. Principals of basic education high schools, branch schools, affiliated schools, and private high schools are required to affix the Ministry of Education stamp on each application before submitting them to the Examinations Department within the deadline.

Private applicants must purchase the stamp, attach it to the application form, and submit the completed form to the township education office in their area of residence by 30 September 2025. Late submissions will not be accepted.

The department also reminded students to carefully check their chosen language combinations, as no changes will be allowed once the applications are submitted.
