Two teenage boys have been arrested for robbing the CB Bank in Pazundaung Township, Yangon, with the use of a fake gun, according to local sources.

 The robbery occurred at the CB Bank (Pazundaung Branch) in Ward No.7 at about 10.30 am today. The two boys aged 14 and 15 were carrying a fake pistol and two knives. 

Both boys living in the same township were arrested and taken by security forces.

“It’s true that a robbery broke out at the CB bank. The robbers were teenage boys. They were captured inside the bank,” said a resident living near the bank.

NOM news agency also reported that the two boys threatened with a gun and knives and picked up 65 million kyats from the bank counter. As they tried to run away, security forces arrived and arrested them.
