Of those patients that had been infected with COVID-19 virus in Myanmar, more than 130,000 had recovered and over 7000 were still being given treatment, as learnt from the Ministry of Health and Sports.
Till 3rd March 2,494,749 persons had been tested , and of these 141,894 had been found to have been infected, and 3199 had died and 131,539 persons had recovered.
Between the 2nd and 3rd of March 1261 lab samples were tested and 19 lab confirmed new patients were found, and so till 3rd March a total of 2,484,749 samples had been tested and there were 141,974 lab confirmed COVID-19 patients.
On 3rd March 5 patients were discharged, and a total of 131,539 patients had been discharged percentage wise it was 92.64%, as known from the data of the Ministry of Health and Sports.
Of those that had been infected with COVID-19 virus in Myanmar the number of deaths has reduced, and at the moment CFR death rate is 2.25%.
Of those infected with COVID-19 virus in Myanmar till 3rd March 3198 patients had died, and the CFR death rate was 2.25% and at the moment the COVID-19 CFR death rate in the world was 2.22%.
The Ministry of Health and Sports announced on 28th Feb. that the Stay at Home condition had been removed for residents of townships in Rakhine State.
The Ministry of Health and Sports made that announcement in accordance with the Infectious Diseases Prevention and Suppression law section 21, subparagraph (b). The Ministry of Health and Sports is making all out efforts to prevent respiratory diseases, and in order to do so more efficiently the ministry issued the Stay at Home order for residents of townships in Rakhine State.
From the beginning of Jan. 2021 the number of COVID-19 infected patients in those townships in Rakhine State significantly. There was no group contagion. There was also more awareness of the importance of health. There was co-operation between the public and the township administration groups, health workers, health related organizations, and volunteers in the task of prevention and control of the disease so that there was a lot of improvement in the townships of Rakhine State, and so the Ministry of Health and Sports announced the lifting of the Stay at Home condition in those townships.
