Union Minister for Education Dr Chaw Chaw Sein said that students who have received awards in the university entrance examination should continue pursuing their studies to completion and, after graduation, remain loyal to the State and serve the country.

The Union Minister said that the State presents honorary awards to outstanding students and urged award-winning students to continue their studies until completion. After graduation, they should remain loyal to the State and make dedicated contributions to the interests of the country in whatever roles they undertake, and serve the nation.

She made the remarks at a ceremony to honour and present awards to children of education staff members who achieved outstanding results in the 2026 University Entrance Examination and the Industrial, Agricultural and Livestock University Entrance Examinations, held on September 25 at the meeting hall of the Office No. 13 of the Department of Higher Education.

At the ceremony, the Union Minister, deputy ministers and officials presented honorary awards to students who passed with distinctions in all six subjects. A student also delivered a speech of thanks on behalf of the award-winning students.
