Officials from Myanmar and Sri Lanka have held discussions on expanding economic cooperation and investment between the two countries.

On March 10, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, Dr. Wah Wah Maung, met with Sri Lankan Ambassador to Yangon, H.E. Ms. Prabashini Ponnamperuma, at Office No. (1) of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed strengthening bilateral relations, expanding economic cooperation and investment, and exploring future areas of collaboration between Myanmar and Sri Lanka.

Officials from the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations also attended the meeting.
