On the morning of December 1, the first day of the China–Myanmar Artificial Intelligence Technology Exchange Forum was held at the Baise Government Officials College in Baise, located in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China. The Myanmar delegation, led by Vice Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Aung Zeya, Chairman of the Committee for Innovation and Digital Skill Promotion, attended the opening event.
During the ceremony, discussions focused on strengthening the long-standing fraternal “pauk-phaw” relationship between the two nations, jointly building a future community of shared prosperity with sustainable development, and accelerating China–Myanmar cooperation projects including the Belt and Road Initiative.
The forum also addressed collaboration on technological advancement and systematic human resource development in key sectors such as Artificial Intelligence, electric vehicles, and Smart Agriculture.
The meeting was held in a significant year, marking the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Myanmar, further underscoring mutual commitments to enhance joint innovation, digital transformation, and future-focused industry development.
