Sound mine attacks target homes of SAC member and KSPP chairman in Myitkyina

In Kachin State, Myitkyina Township, the homes of Daw Dwe Bu, a member of the State Administration Council (SAC) in Sitapu Ward, and Dr. Manam Tu Ja, chairman of the Kachin State People's Party (KSPP) in Yuzana Ward, were reportedly attacked with sound mines.  

According to a statement released by the SAC's information team, the attack occurred around 3:40 PM on July 7 at Daw Dwe Bu's residence in Sitapu Ward, followed by another explosion at around 3:45 PM targeting U Tu Ja's home in Yuzana Ward.  

The attacks caused minor damage to windows and doors of the houses, but no injuries were reported.  

Security forces are currently investigating to identify and apprehend those involved in the incident, ensuring legal action is taken. Necessary security measures are also being continued to maintain peace and stability in the area.
