A total of 77 education workers were killed, 560 educational buildings were bombed, and 123 were set on fire from February 1, 2021 to the end of April 2025, according to the information team of the State Administration Council (SAC).

The SAC information team responded to a media inquiry about the number of schools destroyed and education workers killed by the PDFs from February 1, 2021 to the present.

As of the end of April 2025, 123 educational institutions (schools, colleges, universities, etc.) were burned down, 449 times of education workers were threatened, and 77 teachers were killed, according to the SAC information team.

Currently, enrollment in basic education schools will begin on May 22, and the enrollment week for the 2025-2026 academic year will begin on May 22 and end on June 1, according to the Ministry of Education.
