Thai news reports stated that authorities in Kanchanaburi Province have seized a shipment of Starlink satellites that were destined for Myanmar.

At 10 am on March 11, Thai authorities seized four large Starlink satellites sets, 10 small Starlink satellites sets, four printers and an air conditioner, all of which were destined for the Thai-Myanmar border crossing of Phaya Thonezu.

The driver and the person in charge of the goods were arrested, Thai officials said. The goods were to be transported from Kanchanaburi, Thailand, to the Phaya Thonezu in Myanmar, and then transported to other areas in Myanmar.

The goods, valued at more than 1 million baht, were believed to have been ordered by a Chinese telecom fraud gang on the Myanmar side.
