The Central Bank of Myanmar (CBM) has sold over $21 million and 500,000 Baht in the foreign exchange market in February 2025.
According to records, on February 3, the bank sold 500,000 Yuan, followed by over 1 million Yuan on February 4. On February 5, it sold $23 million to businesses in the petroleum sector.
Further transactions included nearly $5 million and 500,000 Yuan on February 5, over $1 million and 2 million Yuan on February 6, and $23 million along with 6 million Yuan on February 7. On February 10, the bank sold over $80,000, more than 2 million Yuan, and over 1 million Baht. Additionally, on February 11, the Central Bank sold $21 million and 500,000 Baht, further supporting the foreign currency market.
