It is reported that flooding occurred in Mongpauk, a town in the Wa region controlled by the United Wa State Party/United Wa State Army (UWSP/UWSA), due to continuous rainfall on September 9.

According to video footage posted on social media by some locals, heavy rain in Mongpauk caused flooding in the town, submerging some houses and vehicles.
