The General Administration Department in various townships in Yangon Region has issued local orders not to sell drones and drone accessories in Yangon Region, and if unauthorized flights are detected, effective action will be taken.

According to the statements made by the respective townships, the PDF groups have carried out attacks using drones in schools, departmental office buildings and crowded public places and strict measures will be taken to ensure that there is no sale of drones and drone accessories in large malls, electronics shops and stores in townships in Yangon Region. Effective action will be taken if unauthorized flights are detected.

"That announcement is true. It was released on November 18. If you want to shoot at bridge construction sites and donations, you must apply for permission from the relevant authorities. If you don't comply with it, we will take action under Section 188," said a person close to the General Administration Department.

Anyone who violates the prohibition order will be effectively prosecuted under Section 188 of the Penal Code, according to the statement.
