A 25-year-old man reportedly jumped from the fourth floor of a building in Mayangon Township, Yangon Region, on the evening of July 30.

The incident happened around 6pm at the fourth floor (B) of Mudita Housing-1 on upper Baho Street in Ward No.2 in Mayangon Township.

“He jumped off through the back window of the fourth floor. While falling off, his body hit and hit the sunshades of the lower floors. When he reached the ground, he became unconscious,” said an official from Golden History Emergency Rescue and Social Aid Development Association.

The man is now receiving treatment at Insein People’s Hospital. He is in serious condition.
