The election has been promised so they are working first to ensure peace and stability, said Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) in a meeting with MSME entrepreneurs in Bago Region at Bago City Hall on May 22.
At the meeting, the Senior General said that since the country's economy must be improved, the relevant businessmen need to take measures to improve the economy. It is mainly to work and create work. The state is creating jobs and providing opportunities to work. The strength of the country lies within the country. Therefore, when their country's difficulties arise, we must act only through our own country. We assured that we will hold the elections and take steps to ensure that the responsibilities of the country are handed over to the elected government. Therefore, the country's stability and peace is being done first. I would like to inform that we will work with anyone if they do it in the best interest of the country. We believe that we will achieve success as we are only working with the desire to improve the state.
The meeting was attended by the joint secretary of the council, Lt. Gen. Ye Win Oo. Union Ministers, Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win, Senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defense, Commander of the Southern Military Command Major General Htein Win, Deputy Ministers, State-level departmental officials, township elders, MSME entrepreneurs in Bago Region and officials.
