Myanmar had vaccinated over 30.72 million of people at the age of 18 and above and over 6.70 million of people under 18 against Covid-19 until November 5 this year, according to the Ministry of Health.
Across the country, Covid-19 vaccinations are being administered in order of priority. Till November 5, 2022, 30,724,032 people aged 18 and above and 6,702,483 children under 18 had been vaccinated, the ministry announced.
As Covid vaccination can reduce outbreak, disease severity and death, the Ministry of Health has urged the public to receive full doses. Those aged over 18 have also been urged to receive a further booster when their latest booster doses have lasted for a six-month period.
