Two explosions occurred near the Aungbarlay Lottery office on Mahabandoola Road in Kyauktada Township on the night of August 31, sources said.

An explosion occurred near the Aungbarlay Lottery office on Mahabandoola Road, Kyauktada Township at about 11:00 pm on August 31, according to people living near the area.

"The first explosion occurred at around 11:00 pm. The sound was quite loud. All the people near that place woke up," said a person lived nearby.

After that, at around 12:00 am, there was another explosion, according to people living near the place.

"At 11:00 pm, there was an explosion. One hour later, around 12:00 am, there was another explosion. The area was near the city hall. And we saw security forces are inspecting it," said a person near the site.

On July 30, an explosion occurred on Sipin Road behind the city hall in Kyauktada Township.
