The Yangon Region government announced on 1st Oct that Yangon Region residents can check online whether their names are included in the list of voters.     

In that announcement, it is said that under the guidance of Union Election Commission and with the support of Yangon Region government, the voters of Yangon Region can check online whether they are included or not in the list of voters starting from 1st Oct. at https://bit.ly/yangon-voters. 

For those whose names are not in the list of voters, or those that wish to correct errors, or those who wish to lodge complaints, names and phone numbers of two responsible from the village or ward are provided in the respective websites to get necessary assistance.   

Should a voter have difficulty to go and apply in person, the application forms are provided on the website.
