The house of COVID-19 positive Case-121 has been locked down overnight according to Taunggyi Township administrator.
“The house is located on Setsantun road and Tuumyaung road in Myoma ward, Taunggyi. Currently the house has been locked down according to the rules laid down by the Ministry of Health and Sports. There, she was staying with her grandparents and her father. We have no instruction to lockdown the road. We will also do swab tests to her grandparents and her father. Moreover, we are collecting data about those in close contact with her,” said Phyo Min Htaik, Taunggyi Township administrator.
Case 121 is a 21 years old woman coming back from England. She has gone on a 14 day quarantine in Yangon. Upon completion, she went back to Taunggyi on April 5. She has no high temperature, ache, cough or sneeze except loss of smell and taste. Therefore, she went to Setsantun General Hospital on April 15 together with her father. On April 19, swab tests of her were taken and tested. According to the statement of the Ministry of Health and Sports on April 21 at 8:00, she was confirmed as case 121.
