NAYPYITAW - State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi will be attending the Union Peace Dialogue Joint Committee (UPDJC), Hla Maung Shwe, UPDJC’s secretary member told the media at the 25th UPDJC Secretaries Meeting held at the National Reconciliation and Peace Center in Nay Pyi Taw on March 10th.

He also said that some members of UPDJC may be reshuffled after the meeting.

“The Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA) prescribed that the UPDJC and Joint Ceasefire Monitoring Committee-JMC were very important. We held the 17th Joint Implementing Coordination Meeting in July, 2018. Later, the UPDJC meeting will be held on March 12th and the State Counsellor will attend the meeting.

Moreover, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services and leaders of the NCA-SEAO will attend the UPDJC meeting.
