First, we are going to begin our trip starting from the foot of the mountain in Kalay Township. Later, we are going to make an overnight stop in a village on the way. In the evening of following day, we will arrive at the peak of Mt. Kennedy. And then, we are going to enjoy the sunset. At night, photo enthusiasts can engage in astrophotography after building the tents. Later, they can enjoy the rising sun in the early morning. At that time, there has been a sea of clouds. The sea of clouds in the Mt. Kennedy is very beautiful than other sea of clouds. Every visitor liked the view of rising sun appearing from the sea of clouds. Secondly way is taken about three hours to go Mt. Kennedy by using Kalay-Tiddim road. Finally, visitors can come to Mt. Kennedy after touring around the Kalay Township but they must be spent a night at the Mt. Kennedy,” said Ko Joe who works at the Tourism Industry.

Mount Kennedy is a 2703-metre (8868-foot) peak in Chin State’s Falam district which dominates the Tiddim highway. The area being scrutinised for conservation status is situated between miles 7 and 15 on the highway.

The notable Kennedy peak rises more than 1500m (4951ft) above all other peaks nearby. It is the second highest mountain in Chin State after Mount Victoria. It is also historically famous for being the site of a battle during World War II between the British Indian Army and the Japanese.
