Ygn holds a rally to welcome and support peace process

YANGON----- A rally was held in front of Maha Bandula Park in Yangon Region, this morning, aiming to welcome and support the peace process and to denounce the foreign interference, according to the sources.

In recent days, the trucks of security forces were parked at the parking situated in front of the Maha Bandula Park and then the parking was prohibited from allowing. Now, the rally to welcome and support the peace process and to denounce the foreign interference was held in front of the parking.

While people are holding a rally, some streets around Yangon City Hall and Maha Bandula Park were blocked temporarly.

Likewise, a rally led by the Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) was held at Tabaung Ground in front of the Uppatasanti Pagoda in Nay Pyi Taw on May 16 to welcome and support the peace process and to denounce the foreign interference.

However, the bomb exploded while people are gathering at the rally site near Yan Aung Myin village in Dekkhinathiri Township.

 About 10,000 people, including members of political parties and families of veterans, have joined the rally to welcome and support the peace process and to denounce the foreign interference.
