Yangon Water Bus suspends its services for one month

Yangon Water Bus has suspended its services for one month from September 27, announced its operator through Facebook page on September 26.

The announcement said the company decided to suspend its services for one month to make major repair for vessels, to buy new vessels to run in Ngamoyeik creek, to build jetties along Ngamoyeik creek and to install machines for new payment system.

“We ordered new vessels and we will run with new vessels. We applied to transport authorities to build 11 new jetties. The vessels currently running are operated for about two years now and they are needed major repairs for the safety of our passengers. The services will be resumed after one month,” said Ngwe Phyo Paing, Operation Manager of the Yangon Water Bus.

Although Yangon Water Bus has suspended its services, one route running from Mawtin Lan Thit to Sarpachaung staff housing will run regularly.

It will serve its customers with better services.

The Yangon Water Bus is operating Botahtaung-Thamata route, Pansodan-Antgyi route, Botahtaung-Insein route, Twantay pilgrim route, Kyauktan pilgrim route, sunset boat cruise with 11 vessels.
