Beginning on November 1, all air passengers travelling between Yangon and Mandalay cities will have to fill in arrival and departure cards and bring a national registration card and full legal travel documents, the Department of Civil Aviation has announced.

Air passengers leaving Yangon for Mandalay must fill in the departure card while those arriving from Mandalay to Yangon need to fill in the arrival card.

Myanmar National Airlines will sell plane tickets for students and sailors at the cheapest rate as well as allow them to carry up to 40kg of luggage.

The cheapest air ticket sales for students and sailors are intended for Singapore and Bangkok flights flying. The tickets are available at the ticket sales counters of MNA.

The Yangon-Gaya-Yangon chartered flight of MNA for the 2023–2024 Gaya pilgrimage season resumed on October 18.
