UMFCCI, Nepal Chamber of Commerce sign MoU on promotion of economic cooperation

The Republic of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) and Nepal Chamber of Commerce has signed a memorandum of understanding to promote economic cooperation between the two countries, according to a press release issued by UMFCCI.

On November 29, State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi, former Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal and Communist Party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and the president of Nepal Chamber of Commerce attended and addressed Nepal Chamber Expo 2018 held in Kathmandu. They studied the booths displayed by foreign countries including Myanmar.

In order to promote economic community and economic cooperation and cooperate in trade fairs and technological shows, Naresh Shrestha, vice president of Nepal Chamber of Commerce and UMFCCI joint general secretary Myo Thant signed the MoU.
