Three Chinese citizens were found dead while one was seriously injured in an accident while connecting the national power grid in Pyawbwe Township, Mandalay Region on July 6, sources said.

Two of them died on the spot and another on the way to Meiktila hospital. The injured person is transferred to Mandalay general hospital.

“We sent three bodies from Meiktila to Mandalay. Their bodies were carried from Pyawbwe to Meiktila with cars from Yan Aung Myin society team,” said Khin Maung Myint from Myitta Parami society team based in Meiktila.

Police have opened an investigation to find out the root cause of deaths.
